Liquid Computing overcomes business continuity challenges through our unique architecture. Where most solutions focus on backing up the application data only, LiquidIQ preserves the entire application environment surrounding an application. This provides our customers with a true business continuity solution by providing holistic, centralized control of the entire application environment. LiquidIQ is able to provide an affordable and reliable business continuity solution in five simple steps:

• The LiquidIQ solution encapsulates all application, OS, compute, networking and storage networking of the application environment
• All server operating system instances (native install or hypervisor based) are defined and contained in a LiquidIQ “logical server“ which is portable to another LiquidIQ system
• All network configuration settings are virtualized and stored in the LiquidIQ FabricBoss™ data model, which is stored on a SAN/NAS disk
• The information is replicated to a business continuity site where another LiquidIQ system can enable the application environment(s) described in the replicated data.

Verification of the business continuity process is as simple as applying a “source” LiquidIQ configuration on a “destination” LiquidIQ system and enabling the environment.
